While these hijabs aren’t exact replicas of a traditional Kufiya, we have incorporated the same symbols in a different light.
The bold lines represents the trade-routes going through Palestine. The olive leaves not only symbolise the ever-growing Palestinian olive trees but the resilience and perseverance of the people of Palestine. The fishnet design is a memory of the relationship between the Mediterranean Sea and Palestinian fishermen.
This material is very delicate as it is naturally derived using organic fibers and eco-friendly dyes so we recommend handwashing to preserve the fabric.
